Sometimes they don't support them at all. You can change the devices to use the Mouse Buttons instead of Joystick Inputs though which means you can use the Joystick Buttons to replicate Mouse Clicks for any game. ### Pre-Requisites Before making any changes always do the following. - Make sure you have the right device selected from the box at the top. - Check to ensure any changes you have made previously were saved. - If you are starting a new game, you might like to Restart the device and press Set. This will set the device back to the default state. - Make sure you complete the Calibration process. ### Step 1 - Enable the Mouse Select the **Global** tab. In the **Mouse** section > Change the Mode to **Relative**. Set **Active** to **Always On**. Click the **Set** Icon. You have now enabled the device to pretend to be a Mouse. ![[Pasted image 20251012105333.png]] ### Step 2 - Identify The Button You Want To Change Select the **Test** tab. Select the **Buttons / POVs** tab. Press the buttons on your device that you wish to re-map. Watch the screen to see which number button highlights when you press the button. Take note of the number. Here I press a few different buttons on my joystick to see which numbers light up. ![[VKBDevCfg-C_PBvik2tyDT.gif]] ### Step 3 - Remap the Button Select the **Profile** tab. Select the **Buttons** tab. Select the **Logical layer** tab. Locate the number that matches the button you want to change per process above. Click the number to open the **Quick logical layer wizard**. Change the dropdown that says Button to Mice. Select Button or Wheel. Select the sub-option to define what happens. In this example I have mapped the primary trigger on the Joystick (mapped to button 1 by default) and changed it to press the Mouse Left Click. ![[VKBDevCfg-C_Qp4fO4ie22.gif]] ### Set and Save your Changes Select the **Action** tab. Click the **Set** button. This saves the changes to the actual device. Now you can test the changes. Select the **Test** tab. Enable the **Log Joystick** checkbox. Test that the change worked by pressing the button on the Joystick. Optional: Click the Save button. Save your changes to a file.
